Oil removed during servicing of equipment, trucks, cars and any oil collected as a result of spillage during working hours are classified as waste oil. This type of oil is either contaminated or has finished serving its original purpose. They are then collected into steel drums, IBC containers or borg tankers and transported to Presank’s Yard that are stored in our storage tanks for recycling .

Presank Limited recognizes that the two principal factors causing motor vehicular accidents are driver error and vehicle failure.  This policy seeks to give direction to the safety measures, vehicle driver training, and other related procedure necessary to mitigate these factors.

Only persons, who have demonstrated the ability to drive a vehicle after applicable training and assessment at a recognised driving who has the requisite and possesses a valid Ghanaian driving licence, shall be issued with a permit to drive oil tankers trucks as far as the waste collection concerned.
All company trucks and vehicles are well inspected before they get on to the road.  Maintenance schedules are planned by the team of experts to ensure regular maintenance and road worthiness of all trucks.
Presank Limited shall institute measures to maintain Company vehicles and to minimise damage as far as practicable.

ALCOHOL POLICY
The company does not permit driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol or any medication that causes drowsiness.  Persons involved in accidents with these vehicles shall be handed to the appropriate quarters.
This policy shall be communicated to all drivers and vehicles users. It shall also be reviewed in accordance with the changing needs of Drivers and Vehicle Licence Authority (DVLA).  Periodical courses are organised for drivers to update their knowledge and skills in the profession.

WASTE OIL RECYCLING ACTIVITIES
Recycling of waste oil has been an integral part of Presank activities. Waste or black oil are regenerated with the following plant. The recovery rate of this oil is 65 -70 percentage.
